I have been living and working in Los Angeles since 1990. Here is a guide to the best streets the city has to offer, a compilation of my experiences living and doing real estate here.

Part 1

Venice

While lot sizes on these streets are not huge by Los Angeles standards, many of the lots here are twice as large as lots elsewhere in Venice. Residents on these streets enjoy being a short distance from the hottest shops and dining on Abbot Kinney Blvd (dubbed by GQ Magazine as “the coolest block in America”).

Santa Monica

These four wide, tree-lined streets between 1st Ct and 7th St all have large flat lots, with a mix of historic homes and newly built estates.

Pacific Palisades

Best Streets:
Corona Del Mar: In the Huntington section of the Palisades, Corona Del Mar is the premier street, as its large lots have front row ocean views and overlook Will Rogers State Beach. Some of the most expensive sales in the Palisades and the greater Los Angeles area have been on Corona Del Mar, including some stunning brand new estates that are being built now.
