Where to Stay & Eat in Mallorca

Where to Stay & Eat in Mallorca

I have been wanting to visit Mallorca for a number of years (having done Ibiza and Minorca in my teens and 20’s), so, when one of my best school friends bought a house there, I decided it was time to go. I find one of the best parts of a trip is actually in the planning and so here (with my kind friend’s recommendations) are SOME of the things I plan to see and do for my week in Mallorca:

Places to Stay:

Hotel Pleta De Mar

Beautiful gardens and four incredible restaurants.

Palma

San Francesc Hotel and their sister hotel Can Ferrereta, Santyani look gorgeous and are not too expensive.

La Residencia, Deià

Bought in 1987 by Richard Branson and is now owned by Belmond. In my opinion, it’s prohibitively expensive but the area of Deià is supposed to be magical, so I will take a look.

Cap Rocat

10 minutes from Palma. A former military fortress, this boutique hotel also has two incredible restaurants, direct access to the sea and an underground spa.

Son Bunyola

Owned by Richard Branson, this 26 room hotel will open this summer. I won’t be staying there but, I will check it out as I love to visit new hotels and look at their design.
